I ´m sorry, I didn´t blog for a while.
Today I started with a new box with a pentagon base. I wanted to embellish the body of the box with some dried marple leafs, I pressed in fall. But they where to big, exepted one. So I went to my neigbours garden for some fresh marple leafs. I ironed them on Vliesofix ( steam-a-seam) and then on the box. I don`t know if they would adhere. Therefore I fixed them with organdy and free motion stiched them and trimmed the organdy.

Eine neue box, die einenPentagon-Boden bekommen soll. Ich wollte sie mit getrockneten Ahornblättern, die ich im Herst gepresst hatte, verzieren. Aber sie waren alle bis auf eines zu groß. So habe ich mir aus dem Nachbargarten einige frische kleine Blätter besorgt, sie mit Hilfe von Vliesofix auf die box gebügelt.Ich war mir nicht sicher, ob sie halten werden, also wurden die Blätter mit etwas Organza abgedeckt und frei gequiltet bzw. gestickt. Das überstehende Organza wurde vorsichtig mit einer kleinen Schere abgeschnitten. Jetzt müssten sie eigentlich genügend fixiert sein, auch wenn sie beim Trocknen stark schrumpeln.

Und ich habe eine Skizze für einen Quilt vergrößert, den ich in verschiedenen Farbkombinationen als Serie nähen will.
